With a desire to create art since I was a small child, when computers started to become a typical household item, it is no wonder that I became immersed in the world of graphic art and web design. With a hunger to continually learn, refine, and expand my craft, I love to design in unique and unexplored ways. Whether I am going for a run, painting, listening to music, or simply driving around like I often like to do, I often find myself being inspired by anything, anywhere.
I graduated from Naugatuck Valley Community College with honors in 2013, where I earned three Associate Degrees for 3D Graphic Animation, Audio and Video Production, and Web Development. I currently attend the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California where I am pursuing a degree in Web Design and New Media, with the hopes of going on to become a teacher.
I am not just a student however. I am an accomplished freelance web developer that has done work for several small businesses in Connecticut (Mobilio’s Fitness, Mobilio’s HVAC, Ugly Radio), Victorinox Swiss Army, and The Smaller Manufacturers Association of Connecticut. With dreams of becoming a teacher coming ever closer to being a reality, I have no plans on losing my passion for all things design, and look forward to passing my knowledge and passion on to others.
I have extensive experience and knowledge of: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, HTML5, CSS3, Susy, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, Dreamweaver, WordPress, Premiere, After Effects, Audition, Garage Band, Acid, Flash, Lightwave, Audacity, and more.
